FPred/E85(E70) 1.0CF DD Dyno
Well had an "awesome" day (not really) on the way to the drag strip...clearly investing in some rods would have been a good idea to run this power level. Some may doubt the power this dyno puts out, but clearly enough to overcome the mechanical threshold of our rods...

It's the old shoot the rod out the block trick, a trick i hoped i would never see. Emails are out to shops to see what my options are. Might sell the car or rebuild it stronger. AMS 2.2L is tempting but not sure i wanna spend that much, its pricey. And with that i would almost have to go to a t3 to make it worth it.
For now just getting a cheap car to go to work in is all i am doing. Car will be down for at least a few months. **** happens i guess, let this be a lesson to people flirting with 500ishwhp on the stock motor, its a dangerous area, really it was probably the 450+wtq from the e85 and 33psi that did it but regardless. Careful guys, this is not a situation i wish upon anyone.

^Thanks man, **** happens...i'll either be selling the car or coming back with a built motor ready for some serious power.
If i sell it i will be looking for a 9 RS, i want a lighter car

i knew e85 gonna kill stock motor quick. over 400lbs tg. is asking for it. That is why lots of engine builder start selling built short block now. Hope my car can run again in 2 weeks. Good luck with everybody running e85 and stock block.
^It happens, there are lots of people running similar/same power as i was on the 8/9/10 evos and they are fine. It is a crap shoot when you get to those levels. Some live...some die. Mine died.
some people run fine with e85 , but how long would it last? It all depend on how aggressive u drive it. You know what i mean. If i have to start all over again, i would stick with pump gas and and turbo kit with 6567 turbo. Less boost and more power and low on torgue.

I am leaning towards a built 2.0L motor with a very small t3 turbo and e85 (i have so many fuel mods and widely available e85, i gotta use it).
if u gonna have a built block , why not max out ur red. U got enough fuel , max out that red to 600 man, before wasting money on t3 turbo. My car max out fuel at 490 and 31 psi red. I will add a double pumper after the built block, and crank it to 38psi. I am going for 600.
Sorry to hear about this sucks dude now gives you a excuse to build a better motor..The 4b11 is a great motor but the factory rod bolts are way to weak for it..That's the one reason i don't like the red or the green the ramp up on the tq is way to vicious and puts to much strain on the factory rods and bolts.
^Actually given our past differences i expected you to say something nasty but you were quite cool about it. thank you for being reasonable, and hopefully this gives you insight into what kinda power the car WAS making.
Thanks for the kind words man...and i will either rebuild it much stronger or scrap the project for a 9.
