Almost stock Evo X, 306 whp on a Mustang Dyno
We had a customers Evo X here at the shop yesterday for a AMS down pipe install and a Tune. Once we got the down pipe installed and the car on the dyno we were very excited with the results. This Evo X is all stock except a cone air filter, and a full exhaust system. By full exhaust I mean AMS wide mouth down pipe, TTP test pipe, and a AMS 3" cat back.
I used the stock boost control solenoids but removed both restrictor pills so I could have the car hold boost better in the higher RPM's. This worked great I just had to tune out a boost spike at peak torque. Once that was resolved boost was hitting 23-24 psi and only tapered to 19 psi. Without the restrictor pills removed we see cars drop boost to 16 psi after a tune, so holding 19 psi was a great improvement. I also did some Mivec tuning to bring the power band on sooner and keep it going strong up top.
The baseline pull was done on a stock tune with his intake and full exhaust installed. When it was all said and done we gained a peak of 64 whp and 72 ft/lbs.

Thanks everyone!
I wasn't certain about the 4B11's at first and was slow to warm up to them as well but after working on them and tuning them, I love them! 4B11 FTW
