Last I heard, a mis shift ate some valves. I think it occurred at launch because they disabled the launch control. Definitely not a good thing on a 2.4L.

i heard it spun a bearing. the builder cant use the right tools to put a motor together and this isnt the first time these guy blown a high dollar motor but they know how to talk the talk but they still cant walk. sorry about the car gump and dont let them tak you in to something else good luck with the next one.

Well we haven't posted on here for a while been very busy with a lot of cars and work. But since people assume they know what they are talking about when it comes to a car they know nothing about . Here is an update on the cars status it is being put together as we speak with a new turbo since the last one gave us issues also the pistons are being replaced due to fuel slosh from the tank. The fuel slosh issue has been fix. And i will also add for all those inquiring minds all the repairs were covered by the shop with no expense to gump cause we stand behind or work. We have also been talking with gump cause he has been considering going to a 6262 or staying with the 6765 but it is up in the air right now and this is the most updated info on the car.And for those who don't know what they are talking about should keep there comments to themselves.

Hey guys, thanks for the well wishing and the concern. As ETS noted, there is presently only one 9sec X in the world and it belongs to ETS. I hope to be there before to terribly long but as many of you know my car has been hard broke for over 3 months. I will be home from Afghanistan in 3 weeks and I expect to the car in my garage and in perfect running order so I can hit the track while the weather in FL is still nice.

This time around it will just be my unskilled ability taking the car down the track so while the car has the ability to hit 9's...I likely will not.

 

That's one crazy build. Excellent choice of parts btw.
