Oh course it was, the data from your dyno run was in a controlled environment. That's the key difference, VD has to assume ideal circumstances. A strong tail wind will give you 15whp extra.
This is no way saying the OP doesn't have a beast on his hands (wanna trade!), just to take the numbers with a grain a sand.

Well my last Dyno on a dynojet was data logged , dropped into VD and was within 10whp on 3 pulls.

Does no one read:
OF COURSE IT WAS, IT WAS A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT!!!
What is so difficult to understand about this?
If VD couldn't return the same results as the log from a dyno, it would be a complete failure.

almost every other graph i see on here has this same dangerous mistake.. look at the boost curve, then look at his AFR at full boost.. 13 AFR? you think 13 AFR is safe to run at full boost? you need to start richening the car much sooner, you cant tune for spool until the last minute or you're gonna run lean at peak boost like your graph is showing.

Just posted whatever VD Showed. Figured I'd share but i guess it was a mistake.
There are literally hundreds of Dynos all over Canada. Its not you specifically. Its just too easy to go and use a DYNO for real and not a made up one. They are NOT accurate. I used a real dyno on my car which made 414 HP on pump gas and on VD made 630. With all the correct info there..

I wonder how hard it would be to add elevation changes to VD's calculations. Like if you could log elevation changes with a phone's gps sensor and add that to the log.

478 whp on an a typical Dynojet would be low 11's @ 125 mph which would also put you at about 95% injector duty cycle on the 800cc injectors. It's not totally impossible but I can understand some doubting it. Of course going to the drag strip would still be hard to back that up since anytime you shoot past 118 mph or so with a 5 speed you are forced to reach for 5th gear messing up the run.

In the end if you can get consistant results with the road tuning and virtual dyno, that's all that matters and you can still use it as a tool for before and after results. I'm assuming the original run was much lower than your final numbers so you definitely had gains from the tuning.
