That tuner sounds like a complete tool. Sounds like you were lucky to get out of there with your engine intact.

You should hit up mellon, ams, or english racing for a better E-tune.

Personally I wouldn't suggest Forged or Top speed for various reasons but that's just me. 8)

How would you know you had a bad tune? Did you baseline your existing map on that day you had it tuned to compare? Unless you are comparing the same conditions on the same day, its not apples to apples. You could have developed an issue between your baseline a few weeks or months earlier than in the summer dynotest.

I know there are a lot of Evo guys in that market with 500-900hp cars that are real happy. One of them actually gets a 5 page spread in Import Tuner magazine next month.

I'm happy with my 740whp tune and will be going back to the dyno shortly for some high boost numbers.

Hope you figure out the problem with your car.

Josh

Either Jestr (will do remote tuning) or Freddie@Spec-Ops in JAX are both good options, as well.

I find it weird that if the base map made more power and was in fact safe and drove better then why would he not revert back to that? All I can say say is that if I didnt trust my tuner with my car and didnt live 3000 miles from English then it would be done by them

Still having issues? That is total bs I'd file a complaint especially if you were double charged for it and left with a stock or already paid for tune

Less boost?

I don't know if the tuner is your buddy with a computer but you seriously should make your way to AWD motorsports in FL and get the right tune and be around 340whp or more.

that's pretty odd that the boost was so low...that alone would kill the power.
