I don't expect much first time out.

I have no solid plans and I am busy the new few week ends. Mid June would be the earliest, maybe even not until Proving Grounds if that is close to mid june.

Need to make sure the car works well before I beat the **** out of it
Whats your realistic personal goal for your next track outing?

The same as last time.

I know it may sound strange and aiming low, but my only real goal is to, well two things, not break and have fun!

I still don't expect to be good at this whole drag race thing yet, especially since I am now making more power and I couldn't really handle my last setup at over 100whp less.

So I guess I am hoping to see traps over 130 and my 60ft is the other goal, I want a sub 2.0 60ft.

Then I will aim to improve from there. Going to take it slow and work on driver mod. But again, only real goals are fun and keep the car working. I don't want to tank another motor right now, tranny i'd be pissed about but its an excuse to upgrade.

taking it step by step is perfectly fine and no reason you can't have multiple stages to your goal through out the day.

For your first goal I think sub 2.0 60ft and a clean pass with no miss shifts no matter how slow the shifts are is a good step in the right direction.

I'm about to hit 17k miles on the built motor soon. 47xx total on the car. I can't lie there must be a small unconscious part of me that must be trying to break this motor cause I don't think any X owner has had more track passes or trips to Mexico than me in the last 13 months. I'm getting every drop of fun out this motor while it keeps going.

The big turbo kit gets us all excited.

You'll figure out the launch, good luck!

To OP, congrats on the numbers!

I think it's time for you to go 10s on pump and pray the lip can hold on for the ride.
