Hey Junior, why does the boost fall off that much? Great overall numbers though!

because the 30 series turbine wheel cant flow enough so back pressure goes up and flow goes down.

awesome numbers though.

Awesome to know the ID1000's can support this much with a little fuel pressure

That 3076 looks way to laggy from your dyno. I would have figure full boost by 3800. Good numbers though!

i agree with the above. seems like it's hitting full boost kind of late. Especially on a bb 30

After going back through my logs it seems to hit full at 4k, I did use a slower boost strategy because it felt like it had a little clutch slip in the higher gears when you loaded it up and severe taper for the IDCs to stay "safe". Over all the car does generally hit peak pressure at 4-4100rpm. Normally I would run a tighter wgdc to bring it in faster.

I will say that the GTX30r is not on my list of choice turbos for the X... lol

Also the id1ks were maxed out at this point. Even at high base they can no longer keep up and when I tried to run less taper I saw static IDCs

Just curious, why would you say this turbo is not on your list? It seems to have made great power, which turbos would you recommend over it?
