Stock appearing turbo == stock manifold.

Stock manifold == twin-scroll.

Thus all stock appearing turbo == twin-scroll.

Kracka what are you trapping at the track in the 1/4 mile? Also how's the car still loving the 2.5?

I stopped drag racing back in college, but the car, and myself, are still loving the 2.5!

The lost of 200 RPM and the gain of about 14whp for $40? Seems like a deal to me. Sometimes we spend a lot more to try to get that much in whp. Thanks for the info! I'm going to go with the EF2.5. In all honesty I doubt I will feel a huge difference of 200 RPMs lost but others might.

Sorry to bring this thread back, lots of good info though...

Has anyone posted a dyno of the new MHI turbo to compare to MAP's offerings?

I don't mean to support a competitor, just help people make an informed decision I guess.

For me the ef2 seems ideal, just want to do my homework and not regret getting a MHI.

Love my EF2. No noticeable lag. 449HP/381TQ (Spraying Meth/water) I didn’t go with the EF2.5 because the minimal benefits didn’t justify the loss in spool for me. I read that many MHI users like their turbos, but looking at there dyno sheets, the low end isn’t there like with the EF2. I think its the best for a stock bottom end/DD.
