DVD Hack for the MMCS
I'd like to vote for removing that stupid "read this crap" after pressing the navi button, I swear that screen is more of a hazard than anything else.
There's been many times I wasn't sure of where I was, then I press the navi button, see the screen and wonder "wth?!! I thought I pressed that already?" press ok, wait for the map to show, then look up and find that I'm at a stop sign, red light, or about to rear end someone, then slam on my brakes.

So is everything good to go? Is there a step-by-step?
There's too many pages to surf thru. Everything that's been discovered since this thread started should be updated on Page 1.

The status is this:
Depending on the version of your nav, there is a fix for the DVD in motion. Most X's have a version that is not fixed yet, but it's in progress.
I'm guessing that we likely won't be able to fix the 'OK' button/screen, but if/when we can it will be later.
There is a thread for requests over on the other forum, so I recommend requesting stuff over there, but I think that most of the requests are really not ever going to happen/not even possible.

also. it works like a charm. it only needs to load once. if you leave the disc in will just keep checking disc and asking to version - UP. should show 10 blocks when completed. just FYI this is an iso file so just burn image to any CD-R and go to town.
No side effects -- just dvd while in motion.
What version is your system running now? If its NR261UM with the 1.09 bootloader, but the app version is earlier than 00.30.94, installing this patch should simply upgrade your software. I drive an 08 lancer from April of 2007, and am now running the exact same software version that the new evo x's have
