If I had a Torx here at work I would try it right now.
Got home late, did not have the right torx. Wont have access to my Evo for about a week.

Thats the idea of this thread.

The goal right now is for someone to unlock the hd for the Evo X version of the MMCS so we can patch the loader.kwi file and produce a CD image for the rest of us in order to give us DVD in motion by just inserting a CD.

From what I've seen, the OEM nav hack is WAY better than other OEM nav hacks. Most involve patching wires and installing switches. This just involves installing an updated piece of software with a couple bits changed.

Way easier and less likely to screw stuff up.

any way to get the aux port to only display video and leave the last listened to audio playing hopefully with controlls over that like tuning or next track?

as in listening to a cd or sirius or hdd and displaying the hks camp2 display hooked up to aux?

If you have an X, you likely have a version that hasn't been patched yet. Hold Set and Navi for a few seconds then hit version info when it pulls up the menu and see what your software version is. If it's 00.30.94 then it's not been patched yet and we just need to hang out a bit until they work their magic.
