So at least it's progress. I have a 3 hour drive today, so I'll see if it is just taking a while to load.

Thanks again!
I remember the first time it took mine a bit long to load, maybe that's the case.

Thank you for all the awesome info! Worked like a charm! It's been a gong show trying to find dealerships that actually know what you're talking about. I finally have ipod control in my 2011 RVR. Thanks again!!!

Yah, it's this. The first time on my 160gb iPod classic it took about 25 minutes for it to start playing. Since it takes a little bit to get going or change songs but works fine now. Thanks guys!

And only 1 week before I rip out my entire audio system . Least the person that buys it will get a good working FUSE unit!

I have tried, unsuccessfully, to apply this update to my UK 2011 car which has an E-09 Nav unit, i believe the US/Canada unit is N-04.

I know this is a long shot, but can anyone adapt the software to work with the European version of the MCCS??

thanks

ok, so i just grab a random pendrive, delete everything in it and copy paste the update file (.zip) to the pendrive, and go put it in the usb port and start the procedure??

Also, is there any risk involved in the non-nav unit if i mess up?? l

You need to unzip the file and place the Update.package file in the flash drive's root.

OK, so i unzip the file, and while i am unzipping that file "Update.package" file appaers but when the unzip finishes, it dissapears and a file called "Update" appears with a bunch of different things inside the file....Tried it with this file i am talking about and still didnt work, could it be that i am doing it in a mac??

Already is format in FAT32

Not sure if it's the Mac or not, but it could be hiding the file extension. Check the Mac equivalent of right click and properties for the file and see if it's a .package file.

Your extension is being hidden. Just drag that Update file to your flash drive. it will be fine from that point on.

Finally after 9 months it works. Really appreciate the share. I do agree that the long load time is a bit annoying. Not to mention that the interface seems a bit out dated, by a decade.

I said screw it and replaced the WHOLE system yesterday. Even with this update FUSE was unusable imo. SO slow just to browse things as simple as playlists. I can't be doing that while driving. This was a complete failure by mitsu.
