Anyone know how to update nav firmware?
Any pictures of the new system? Are you able to hook up the steering wheel controls? Can the stock GPS antenna be reused? Thanks
I have a ton of pictures
. I'm thinking of writing an entire article on it. Yes on the steering wheel controls. No on the GPS antenna, but if you're going to replace the Nav unit with a Nav unit it comes with a GPS antenna anyways.

After I did the update, I noticed a similar issue, turned out the Bluetooth volume level was turned all the way down. Try hitting speech button then turning the volume dial one click to see what the level is set to.
I don't want to give you too much credit, but you could possibly be a genius. It was the volume. I would have never guessed that the volume would be the problem. I was thinking of going to the dealer and playing dumb. Thanks for the advice.
I got my Evo last week so I'm not sure if I need this upgrade or not? Where can I check to see what FW version I have? When I was looking for it under system info (I have nav) it told me i have version J? I was trying to find where it said FW version 9.0.0.
Also does anyone else have to wait a few minutes for the ipod to load?
Thanks!

I remember hearing about this update not too long ago so I contacted the company that creates FUSE and asked them if I could download the update from them. Their reply was that it must be done by a certified Mitsubishi dealership. I just laughed and knew that our EVO community would come through for us sooner than later.
so check this out...dealership installed my NAV today, but its registering that im in New York city when im in fort lauderdale FL. Dealership couldn't figure it out either and told me id have to wait till monday for the "Tech guy" to figure it out. Any idea on how to change your location or how i could fix this?
