I just asked my dealer if he would research how to do it on Nav+RF systems. I'll let you know.

I tried the SCV on and off.. thats just speed controlled volume.. has nothing with the auto-leveling of the bass.

Oh well, thanks for checking desiromeo. Somebody had posted those instructions a while back as working for the auto sound leveling.

I don't know about it working, in theory it would somewhat work but only at lower speeds if you didn't have everything turned up to where the amp would auto level the signal. This is purely just deductive reasoning on my part. The only way to really get rid of it is to replace the stock amp. The stock amp has an integrated crossover in it though so that it will run the tweeters(if you have them.)

Just know that doing this is a bit of a PITA, like I said in my original post. But... it can be done.

Quote: Welcome to the most overpriced underperforming stereo in the history of Automobildom. I couldn't wait to gut the amp and speakers. The Rockford system is Awful.
You obviously haven't experienced the stock Subaru STi system. Complete and utter ****.

Quote: The rockford fosgate factory upgrade is decent, but not mind blowingly good. But I found when I use to have it is punch at 5+, treble +1, mid+1, bass 0 but this is really just a personal preference. I just found the system to not hit too hard and sound strained or break down on these settings for me, while keeping the juicy mids loud and clear without being overshadowed by overwhelming bass response.

Everyone likes their music a bit different.
Thanks!
