I'd like to know how those turn out. The picture on Amazon doesn't do it much justice.

Hopefully the projector shroud is not primer gray. UPS says its out for delivery so hopefully we'll see tonight!

That is so funny. I use that part number 314-1142PXUS2 to look up in Amazon and that's how I got to that part number. Mine will come in sometime next week. Let's see. Finger cross.

Well, my headlights came in and they are as advertised!

The projector shrouds are silver and chrome.

I checked bulb fitment with a 9006 bulb. Fit perfect.

Cell phone pics below. The protective plastic shrink wrap is still on the headlights.

Hopefully my ddrtuning HID kit comes in by this weekend so I can install!

looks good throw up a cutoff ASAP

perhaps we won't need a new lens afterall

does the lens that comes with the depo housing also come with that nice clear reflection if you are looking straight at it, or is it always grey like that

As far as I can tell, the lens is clear. I think it looks grayish because there no bulb in there and the plastic behind it is black.

DEPO
these aren't my shots, but off another forum. waiting to see pics of cutoff lines on the Halogen bulbs only and then again with 9006 HIDs. Will post more as I get more info.
Fitment was also said to be a 8/10.

Here is a shot of them installed. I don't see any of that nice "clear" reflection of the lens when starting right into it

this shot is actually without an HID kit using just Halogen Lamps.

I ordered the lights, but they are at my retrofitter. I'm closely monitoring my other forum for the other guy who is going to test the cutoff with halogen bulbs and then an hid kit without and type of projector replacement. He should have a post up sometime this weekend. Depending on satisfaction, I may tell the retrofitter to go ahead and replace the projectors with Evo-R or FXR depending on lens size after measurement.

I haven't forgotten about you people

So, the Amazon one is definitly chrome and not flat grey like the photo?

Pics when you get the chance would be great!

Now any tips on how to put it in ? Hopefully the weather gets a little warmer this weekend.
I bought the HID kit ( 33.00 ) bucks off ebay.

Awesome! Can't wait to see the cutoff of these projectors with HID's installed.

Looks like the non-sss guys can finally run some projectors without the flicker issue we just need to add the JRox harness.

these aren't my lights, but I looks like 8k.
cut-off looks very decent for halogen projectors and while there does appear to be somewhat of a glare bubble in the middle (above the cutoff), it doesn't look like it would bad enough to blind someone.
my retrofit of Evo-R bixenon projectors into these are done, and I hope to pick them up sometime next week.

i also asked about any issues retrofitting them in, and he said everything went smoothly and only took him 2 days on a very busy schedule.

was there a lot of work needed to make them fit or were they almost a direct replacement?
