h.I.d light problems?

Talked to a mitsubishi rep and he said people try to put in h.I.ds in the car and it messes with something inside the electric wiring. Anybody get aftermarket h.I.ds in their X with no problems?

Messes with the oem wiring circuit? Doubt it. It does however mess with every other drivers sight on the road. Do it right and install projector lenses.

You need a daytime running lights (DRL) defeat harness (J-rox).

Properly ground the ballast chassis. It really affected my radio reception when the lights were on.

My HID conversion does not have people flashing me and is aimed correctly. But, best is to have the proper housings.

He probably just meant if you just connect HID bulbs to the OEM sockets then that would cause problems.

This, or you can make a DRL disable with only a few parts on your own. 5 pin relay, connectors, and wire. It took me about 15 minutes and cost $12 to do mine. If you don't disable the DRL, they HID's will flicker, or not turn on at all due to the low voltage for the DRL.
