Chris at Perrin said the panel filter and turbo inlet pipe and i believe intercooler piping is ok with stage 3 also. Min a/f change so it wont affect the map just give more power.

 

Just installed stage 1 from perrin.. damn the car pulls harder... =)

 

As of yesterday that didn't apply to AccessPorts...

oh well... I ordered one, but I didn't get it from Perrin, I did get a good price on it though... if I can, maybe i'll get one of the maps from them.. or just wait and see what Cobb can come up with.

 

Got my AP with a great price from Perrin. I tested between the Cobb stg 1 and later the Perrin stg1. My impressions were pretty much like what you describe. In addition, Cobb's may have felt like having slightly more top end but it may have been more so the on/off feeling once the car hits peak boost. In other words, it sort of felt like it did before but with the boost turned up. However, with the Perrin map the car truly feels much stronger. The difference in torque around 3k rpms was something you can really feel and the car pulls much harder from a stop.

I just put in the Perrin map, its great. Really a night and day difference compared to stock.

Well i didnt purchase it but i got a free one with the purchase of buying a Accessport. Stage 3 Perrin Map =)

 

Ohhhh, well I have no other mods for that and have no money for them so that one would have to wait quite a while lol.

 

I'm selling th AP and looking around 500 I just bought last month I got reciept anyway... Let me know !!!

Well... I like no doubt... but paying 180 for a map where I can get a custom tune for 400ish... I would love to try it out if someone has it but we'll see... not too many AP tuners...

 

i bought the map from perrin ($125). i would watch out with passing it around. the map is "laced" with your info. mine has my name, number and email on it. they probably did it just in case it starts being pirated.

 

makes sense... oh well... I just wanted to see wat all the fuss is about haha... i'm sure it's bad *** if people say it's better than the ap stage 1... I would love to see the low end T... but if i'm thinking of selling it I don't think i would pay 130ish... Thanks for the heads up
