What gas are you using? I was using 92 oct sa or holiday gas and i was getting 1-2 point knocks. Switched to BP 92 only reached a highest of .7 which only did it once but at low rpms and no knocks at high rpms. Switched to 93 Oct M&H now i dont log any knocks low or high rpms.

That log was after a fresh fill of Exxon 93. I am going to fill up in the morning again with BP 93 and re-log. I will see what that does.

OK so this morning I put a half a tank of BP in and then on my way home from work on the same stretch of road and about the same temp/outside conditions I logged another identical pull as the my previous one. 3rd gear 4500RPM to WOT to the top of 4th. This is what I logged. The high amount of knock at high RPM and the fact that it is consistant makes me think I need to have my map adjusted. Unless someone can tell me other wise.

i would like to see someone who knows more about this chime in.

scott your previous logs didn't show this, so don't you think it is BP and Exxon?

^ I know the first two logs I did the most knock I had was .35 and only a couple times. Something I did notice though is that the same company owned both the Exxon and BP gas station where I filled up. There logo was on the pumps and both said could contain up to 10% ethanol. I am going to try again with Shell gas and relog to see if that changes things.

PS I am still waiting for Perrin to get back to me.
