I have the same thing, I think it's the ASC looking at the airflow/torque limit tables. I am using the DTC disable (are you?) and I think my tables aren't fully dialed in since my tuner didn't think they needed to be with the disable.

Here is what Mitsubishi pulled for me for codes:

I have both the codes you are talking about as well.

Same scenario as you...I floor it, usually the higher gears for me, 4/5th and rarely 3rd. And usually when doing at a low RPM. The ASC light comes on and the dash looks like this.

Minus the seatbelt/brake lights, I was stopped when I took the pic

mine did this before the tune briefly in low gears when boost spiking to 28psi, does it after the tune, not sure why since it was disabled during the tune.

same problem!!!

Any resolutions to this issue? I am having the same asc and service required lights coming on. Just started a couple of days ago. I'm in the process of tuning the car right now with an email tuner. I thought it could just be data issues because of logging and all of that, but it happens when everything is disconnected also.

I'm running around 30-30.5 psi, and it happens right when I get into peak boost (I think in every gear, but haven't confirmed 1st gear yet).

Any comments would be great. Thanks

overboost 29.xx psi n above it pops out and like golden said it's been a fix. i suspect the tq/airflow tables has something to do with this ad probably throttle maps too

I found an interesting thing about this on my RA when I swapped to the BBX lite

The RA has different values in the 3D MAP tables. I didn't move the Evo values over to the RA tables and every time I went WOT, even at 23psi, it would trip the ASC service light. Also the load would get all richter scale looking and the car would generally be pissed off.

I moved over the Evo MAP values to my RA rom and everything went back to normal, no ASC service light and the car was much happier at WOT.

The car will log this fault in every gear apart from 1st, but does not log when on rolling road. I suspect therefore that it is the G sensor logging to much acceleration on the road. Does anybody know what is needed to remove this fault code??

Cheers Les

i have similar issue as less, got a uk fq300 with intake, exhaust intercooler upgrade with a 400/400 ecutek tune on 98ron...punch my car at loww rpm in fifth gear and the asc, service message pops up,...

Hey super old thread, but I'm having this exact problem...and my car is being e tuned right now.

Is there any fix for this beyond evoscan and tephra? It looks like it's a map sensor problem, so can I just get a 4 bar sensor and throw it in?

I'm tuning with the accessport and almost done with my E85 tune, and this happens. So needless to say, switching to a completely different tuning platform set really an option at this point
