Bryan,
Are you still tuning? If so, when I decide to pull the trigger on E85, would you be able to tune my MR?

Amazing feedback for the OP to work with.
To the OP: With proper tuning, it's just like running E85 on a GSR. I highly recommend E85 if you have it available. I have both my Mitsus on E85 and it's great fuel.
You do want proper tuning to keep the clutches and torque management of the SST happy. Not everyone can do this. In the bay area there was only one person currently who could.

That's pretty much the same mods that I have besides the Fuel pump/kit. I'm just scared to blow out my tranny. Do you daily drive your MR?
Stock clutches are handling it perfectly well. The mods for that were:
AccessPort
DW 800cc injectors
Blaqops Fuel Pump kit w/ Walboro 255lph pump
Grimspeed EBC
K&N Drop-In Filter
AMS O2 downpipe
AMS 200 cell cat
Modified stock cat-back
I do have the SSP shallow SST pan and front-mount cooler kit, but I only turn that on when I'm at the track.
For the minimal amount of modifications, I certainly could not be happier with the performance.

nice! this is an awesome find. I'm also almost there..just missing the kit for conversion and the injectors I believe...
Besides the stock clutch packs not being changed...was there anything else you did to the tranny? I was thinking I would have to reinforce the tranny with better clutch packs, better oil, maybe an SS Filter by SSP and a tranny cooler thingy (forgot the actual name, sorry)
Also, I was reading that over time, there were issues with the hoses and rubber on some parts of the car (not sure which ones) but the ones that, of course, are involved with the E85.
...i'm so close to pulling the trigger on this conversion...but my research has pulled up either very complicated and involving issues with conversion or a simple 4 sentence post about parts and a tune with no issues??? So i'm not sure how to follow this...
Also, my tuner said to strengthen the weak tranny if it get close to 400wtq...but your's (mrMTB) seems to be fine. If i'm such a worry wort, should I reinforce the tranny anyways? I mean, it can't hurt it anyway right?...just my wallet i suppose.
