i'm getting mixed reviews here. The new DW doesnt need a bracket? It's a direct replacement?

The DW65c will be a high-flow direct replacement for the stock Evo X fuel pump.

Hey Murlo, so you ran the MEATEVO DIY foam holder with no issues? i've been searching for people with problems using it but cant find any besides the fuel hose and pick up sock going brown on e85. I cant decide DIY 255 or one of those newfangled DW 65c.

sorry to take a left turn in the thread but i gots to know i am cheap

Yes I ran his DIY kit, but I wouldn't recommend it at all. Buy a good kit and be done with it.

Had the pump installed. Very straight forward and it is direct fit without any issue. Pictures coming.

Oh, one advise. install the pump while the gas level is low. It should prevent less mess.
