Need stock boost solenoid

Hey guys,

So for some reason, my tuner in Michigan told me that it was fine to run a grimmspeed boost controller with a stage 2 cobb tuned for AMS parts (which I have ETS intake, exhaust, UICP/LICP, Deutchwerk 800cc injectors, and cobb tuner with grimmspeed boost controller, as mentioned) So after looking around, I have found that this is most likely not tuning the grimmspeed, but just the ECU, and the grimmspeed is usually doing what it has been doing, disregarding the cobb stage 2 tune....

SO, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could pick up an OEM 2010 GSR boost controller solenoid?

OR if there is anyway I can correctly tune my set up with what I have?

Thanks guys,

(hopefully I posted this in the right section )

I'm confused. Is it a manual or 3-port boost controller? Was the car tuned AFTER adding the boost controller?

Yeah heres basically what happened. Its a Grimmspeed EBC and it came with the car when I bought it. The car only had 10,000 mile on it and the EBC was installed only a few thousand miles before I bought it. The dude got a really sh***y tune on it and I don't have a certified evo tuner within 100 miles of here so Im just gonna get a stock one and tune the cobb with it.

Do not run a tune designed for the AMS intake with the ETS intake, the MAF housings are different diameters. Find a tuner who knows what he's actually talking about or stick to the basic Cobb OTS maps (and run the proper one for your mods).

Now I'm heading up to my attic to see if I can find my stock 2010 boost solenoids for you...

Yeah I gotta head back over to speed industry this weekend when I finally am home and see if he can hook me up. The only thing is if the owner before me tuned the car (just really sh***y) and I put the cobb over it, would the cobb tune override the previous tune? or did i just open up a whole can of s**t that i didn't want?

And if you do, I would be forever grateful if I could buy it off of you, because this grimmspeed is not cooperating with cobb.

It should override it. I ran my ets intake with the cobb sf intake map as advised by cobb because they re-use the stock maf housing as well. When I got my grimmspeed I had to get a custom tune. I still have my stock solenoid if you want it. Dont know how much they run but shoot me a price and its yours.
