AP bricked my ecu

damn thats scary. good luck! id say get it tuned to stock at mitsubishi then go from there

i am already back to stock tune and now saving money to put all mods back to the car then have Beeble for Etune

The $100 is what they charge Pro-Tuners. In reality there is always a cause and effect though when they brick. Anything out of the ordinary when it did it? I have never had an AP brick a X, so I am not sure on that, but on the opensource its usually either a low battery or bad cable.

It seems anyway.

Same thing happened to me except I was using an OTS map. It sent the car into limp mode. But, after i turned the car off it would't start again. I had to remove my ECU and send it to COBB to unbrick it. I got it back and when I went to flash a map it bricked again. I sent it to COBB who benched it again but this time when I got it back it wasn't working at all. I had the car towed to Mitsu dealer and they got a new ECU covered under warranty somehow. Haven't had any problems since however I am onto open source now.
