AP bricked my ecu
The $100 is what they charge Pro-Tuners. In reality there is always a cause and effect though when they brick. Anything out of the ordinary when it did it? I have never had an AP brick a X, so I am not sure on that, but on the opensource its usually either a low battery or bad cable.
It seems anyway.

my tunner was tuning my car today, and everything went fine. after that we saved the map in cobb AP and tried to flash it to my car, however the AP dead/frozen in the middle of flashing. then my car wont turn on and he said the ECU might bricked because of that. my tuner immediately switch to opensourse and unbricked the stock map back to the ecu (thx god the car is runing again). we called cobb and ask to send in the AP for repair. in this case do i also have to send in my ECU too?
what do you think its the cause of this kinda thing happens? is the tuning itself or is the cobb device.
will it be happen again if we try to flash the new tune after it got fixed?
