ecuflash
I’m not lazy. I’ve searched and searched That’s how I was able to find the rom Id. My tuner made it so I can’t read the maps I’ve tried hex edit I can’t figure out how to convert it to a hex so I can edit in EcuFlash
When you open ECUFlash and connect to your car with the tactrix, are the buttons at the top greyed out or are the colored arrows there?
Ok. My tuner used EcuFlash And yes I can pull the rom I just can’t read it. It’s like he hid the maps or something. I was able to figure out my Id which is 58010105. And yes I know that’s a tephra mod. Sometimes you just need help
Ok, I might have ran into the same thing you are describing here. When I first got my car from the dealership, I was able to access my tables, and I configured mode23 logging. About a month passed and I took the car to the dealership for the first round of maintenance and there was a recall or a TSB on the ECU(2011). They asked if I wanted them to go ahead and update it. Without thinking about it, I told them sure. After that, I hit the problem you are running into, and mode23 stopped working too. When I would try to pull down the table, it couldn't identify the rom id anymore, and wanted to try to use "inherited" values. In the end I din't get it working until I moved over from tephra v3. Once I was on v3, I was able to get to my maps again.
Have you installed a definition for 58010105 into your ecuflash's 'rommetadata/mitsubishi/evo/' folder?

Ok thank you all the info. I will eventually buy the v3 But for now I want to be able to see the maps first. I can’t find the definition for 58010105. I did inherit it to 5800005 but still. Nothing. I also tried to copy to that def Is it possible to just start fresh?
Have you read my PM(Private Message)?
