Expected boost taper?

Hey everyone, I'm in the early stages of tuning my evo and am noticing in my logs that I usually hit a peak boost of ~25 PSI at 3500 RPM then it very quickly tapers off to about 15 PSI for the rest of a WOT pull. Is a drop that significant expected? Should I be getting a boost leak test?

I haven't changed anything related to the WGDC or any boost solenoid maps. All completely stock. I've attached a picture of the boost curve, am I wrong in thinking that because it's able to maintain that 15 PSI fairly stable that it isn't a boost leak?

Thanks for all your help, if this is a dumb question feel free to roast me, I did some searching but answers varied pretty wildly.

Take a look at it visualized: https://datazap.me/u/razorlab/kruxxe...0&zoom=207-296

You are hitting above target and the ECU is correcting by taking 13 to 18% WGDC out, that is the dip that never recovers.

Looks like you are on the stock OEM boost solenoids. Are you using OEM boost control strategy or boost-target?

Stock everything. The only things that I've made changes to are fuel maps, timing maps, and MAF scaling.

Well, there ya go then.
Stock parts too? Boost spike like that is usually because of mods.

I guess this is gonna sound really dumb. The only mod I have is an intake, I thought it you got the MAF scaling right the boost solenoid would correct and not overboost.

The boost is an easy fix if you are already tuning.

I'm happy to set it up for you if you wish.

Oooooh, I see I'm also exceeding the load in the stock boost limit map in a different log.
