haha yeah, too bad AEM cant figure out how to just buckle down and do batch firing. The sequential crap has got to go! That was a great comment though "Perhaps EVO owners with AEM ECUs that have to crank the engine for 4 seconds before it starts would appreciate this. HAHAHAH, suckers…."

Cool, good to hear from cosworth themselves that the stock components are really good, it reinforces my already very high satisfaction of my new X even more.

That has more to do with the triggers (hardware) as opposed to the software (AEM).

There is a company that's making adaptable triggers for the DSMs/(earlier) Evos that corrects this with a trigger wheel that's very similar to the current X design (they designed it quite a while before the X wheel was public).

God you actually prefer batch fire injection over sequential?

^ I think he meant batch just for cold start. Which is what it should be used for.

They already have that, it's called "crank inject all" in the startup params, crank time is like others have said, it's waiting for the ecu to fing the sync on the crank and cam sensors.

And Noize... long crank or not I'll still bust your 10's *** once i get it started

OMG the Evo is german

Here you can see the piston cooler jet actually injecting oil into a hollow chamber below the piston’s dish. This keeps the piston cooler so a tighter piston to cylinder wall clearance can be run. I have a piston on my desk and it is a nice piece made by Mahle.

Volkwagen/Audi/Mazda style trigger wheel on the crank throw. It seems like all the manufacturers are switching to this type of trigger wheel. It makes it a bit more difficult for us crankshaft manufacturers (Cosworth), but no big deal.

The odd ball, multi section missing tooth trigger pattern will keep the standalone ECU developers busy This accually will help make the the p0300 fault worse
