Last I checked they were building a firewall of some sort since the tank sits in the trunk, likely between the battery and windshield washer tank but I could be wrong. Best guess is end of May but you can't rush safety when it comes to fuel.

I did find this link of fuel items supposedly for the Evo X, most of the stuff still doesn't make any sense though. If somebody has measured the stock Evo X pump dimensions maybe another 255 L + capacity pump is a direct fit for us. There is also a Sard Fuel Collector Tank that seems decently priced but it would still need a pump and appropriate lines to get working on our cars.

I'll likely start a Fuel Pump upgrade thread to avoid going off topic from the GT3076R info but anyone buying this turbo will need an upgraded Fuel pump and injectors to use it to it's fullest.

Call AMS they're very straightforword (1-847-709-0530). Firewall might be for safety purposes; probably required for certain types of racing. Like Hiboost said you can't rush safety when it comes to fuel.

I wish Ex, all I can tell you is get with the vendors/tuners. I'm in the same boat trying to decide between FP Red/Dom 2 and bolt-in Garrett. HB Speed and AMS have been polite and answered all the questions i've had. Hope that helps man.

I guess I'll have to wait and see. I will do something else to my car in the meantime.

It uses the walbro pump if I'm not mistaken that is in the 8/9 kit, I would imagine it would be similar to the mid $700 price range or a little more due to the extra safety items they will have to adjust in the kit for the Evo X.

I also heard it uses a walbro pump. Price is worth it AMS doesn't skimp on safety or quality. Piece of mind is priceless ...

I bought my turbo from Ravspec and the price shipped was great despite having to pay NY taxes.

Hi all , can someone with access to one of these turbos please shine a light down the mounting flange and take a pic for us .

I'd just like to see what the twin inlet ports look like on a real TS GT30 turbine housing .

Cheers , Adrian in Aus .

So it's been almost a month since this turbo's release and there is STILL no data anywhere about what this turbo is doing...

Very strange...

I ordered 800cc injectors for now, Walbro 255 HP fuel pump, UR O2 Downpipe, AEM Wideband, and a few other bits. I wish I could get it all installed today but I'm still rounding up a tubular exhaust manifold and doing a 2 day DE with PCA at Watkins Glen in 2 weeks. So instead of rushing the install and tune then trying to run the car at full tilt on a road course I decided to wait until after the event to play it safe. Expect Dyno sheets about the first week of June from me with quarter mile runs at the drag strip to follow shortly there after. Hopefully there will be someone else that beats me to the punch!

There is also my learning curve of tuning the car with ECUFlash and I don't want to screw it up. I expect Mivec tweaks and the fact that my breath can spin this ball bearing turbo to allow it to spool up quite well and still have great top end power. If I can't figure it out 100% I'll have Emery at Street Tuned Motorsports make it perfect. I'm so glad he decided to get an AWD Mustang Dyno setup so close to home!

Sounds like a good approach. I ended up with the 1000cc Bosch injectors myself...just in case E85 is too much for me to resist. Mine will be installed and tuned on the 22nd...so I'll at least have some initial dyno sheets posted.

Sweet! Those injectors will give you some nice headroom! Likely 800cc injectors will be fine for me on pump gas at 25-26 psi. Down the road if I turn up the boost for a race gas tune is the only time I can see them getting into the 85-100% duty cycle range. Too much power is such a horrible problem, we will see...
