FP Red for EVOX Turbocharger
Impressive. What do you see with 93 octane and a boost level that allows the car to be driven as a daily driver (i.e 23 psi boost plus or minus)? Do you need to run higher boost levels after installing the Red? Did you need to change the injectors, fuel pump, coils, etc. What are your mods? Flash, or piggyback? Boost controller? I am interested in the FP Red but don't want to have to run high octane and boost just to daily drive the car. I like to get on the car in a moments notice without having to change fuel and boost levels. I like it to be ready to launch at will. Will the FP Red give me that advantage over the stock turbo?

And here's another quote from someone who got a ride in the car:
I've daily driven DSM's with Hahn Super 20G's, 35R's. I've ridden in a 40R 700whp Evo. All feel laggy with high boost thresholds and long pauses after stepping on the gas at higher rpms. I've also driven my Evo8 and swapped in an IX turbo, and to me I perceived no lag difference between the two. I've also driven a modded stock turbo X. Ryan's Evo X with the FP RED honestly felt like a stock IX turbo to me, but with a solid 60-80whp added. When you're putsing along and then decide its go time the thing freaking hauls ***. Instantly. No, we did not do WOT @ 2000rpms to do full boost onset comparison tests. Those tests usually prove nothing. Lots of turbos will build boost down low, often none will go anywhere until after 3000rpms. But, even down there the turbo felt responsive and felt like it could do what I'd ask of it if I needed it.
I'm also very interested in seeing what kind of power can be seen on pumpgas.
But, why use such old school technology? The turbo does perform; that is without a doubt. But, there are much better wheels out there now, for example the garret GT wheels.

There isn't anyhting old school about the FP Red besides the guys that build them
The HTA wheels we use to replace the OEM wheels with are the same ones we use to upgrade garrett GT wheels with. For example the 76mm HTA wheel used in this upgrade is the same one used to replace the Garrett wheel in the GT3076R turbos, it is actually the same exact aero as the 82mm HTA wheel we use to improve on the Garrett GT3582R Turbo. Additionally our new proprietary FP Turbine wheel has been tested agaisnt the GT35R turbine and been shown to virtually dupicate the performance of the GT35R turbine wheel in flow, response and angular acceleration.

I am thinking about offering a pormotional GB on this turbo, I am intersted to see if anyone would be intersted in joining in on such a GB if I were to offer it?
If I do this I would be doing it on brand new ones outright with no core due? Sound appealing to anyone?

what if we return our core to you? would you refund us some money?
BTW... I am definitely interested. Would you need a tune for this to work? Or would this be plug and play on a EVOX with Catback and Intake only?

I think both BVP and AMS could supply you with tuneup info, they both have posts in this thread.
Have you guys ever dyno'd the FP Red without a tune before?
What if you don't get a tune and slap on the turbo anyways, what are the cons? I mean I want to buy this when it comes out, but I might not have the money to drop ASAP to get an RRE EcuTek Tune right off the bat.
