Best High Flow Cat option?
Are any of you running one without a CEL? I dont want to pay the extra cost for a HFC and then get the same CEL's i would get from a test pipe. I want to be able to throw in a 3" HFC and never worry about it again.
Anyone having any success with a good reasonably priced HFC?

If you are on a budget, UR has pretty good review so far.
If you are willing to spend a little more money, go with HKS, Sard or Garage G Force high flow cat.

I have an Apexi 3" turbo back exhaust. I was using the stock cat with Apexi downpipe / catback for a while. Once I put the COBB high flow cat on, there was a noticeable difference in how the exhaust sounded as well as noticing that the car pulled harder up to red line with the new cat.
I choose the COBB cat for a few reasons. First, it IMO it looks the best out of other companies cats (no weird heat shields / huge catalyst housing). Second, the catalyst itself only takes up a small portion of the pipe and the pipe itself is actually bigger where the catalyst is located.
If you are asking whether I had the car dyno'ed before or after, or if I ran it down the strip to compare, I did not do that. But I can say it mellowed out the sound of the exahust, I don't get a CEL and haven't had any issues.
