They are probably not lifting on their shifts and shifting faster. You should be in the 1.6's 60' too.

well on the stock clutch and first time at the track the 1.75 wasn't that bad i think. someone else i know ran a 12.2 @ 111 and he thinks that run he had a 1.71 60' for that run.

i was just curious if there was something i didnt know as too how the trap speed is the same but the ET is different...and not a little different. 12.2 to 12.6. That being 60' times are very similair. Obviously different tracks may read different but i just was wondering what else could lead to that.

Shift speed and the delay between gears would play a large part in the difference you are seeing.

yea...one major thing though was that i had a boost controller in. That REALLY helped...i didn't really raise the boost more than stock...but it just held sooo much more than stock.
I picked up 30whp and 50wtq from the tune and i'll be going back to the track in 2 days on wed. to see what i can do now.

So your saying someone who has a lower ET than me but we have the same trap would mean that im shifting slower?

hmm...that was my first time ever at the track...i'll see what i can do this wed. I know i should be low 12's...but maybe i can break 11's. We'll see.

Yes. When you have 2 identical cars trapping at the same speed, and running the same 60' times, the usual cause of any difference in ET is the speed at which each driver is shifting (as far as I know).
