AWC ECU Reprograming campaign

New Campaign to have the AWC ECU reprogrammed to match operation with ambient temps. Have them check if you car needs it when you bring it in for the Fuel line recall.

Google Doc link to the PDF file I uploaded of the Campaign,

You could always just pay your dealership an hour of time to do it if you can't wait for mitsubishi to give it up for free...either that or drive to Colorado.

Me too, I ran the Mitsu Super Screen to check on the fuel recall and it was on there as well. So posted it up for every one. It's really new, like this week new.

( I work at a dealer)

No, that is not the same ECU as the Engine ECU. The AWC system has it's own ECU. That is what is being reprogrammed.

Yes really, I've worked in the dealership business for 8 years. All cars have recalls at some point in their model span. If you don't own one, you would never know. These are also not major issues. It takes no more than an hour to fix any of these. Most likely they were over looked during the engineering process as Mitsu was trying to cuts some costs to keep the Cars price as low as they could while still meeting production deadlines. Bottom line there is no perfect design.

Hood Latch and AWC ECU reflash are service campaigns (TSB), not recalls. Only recall on the Evo X so far is the fuel rail.
