His water pump/water pipe is leaking.... help!

i would get the upgraded oil line kit if i was you

 

This is a X. They don't have that and do not require it like they do for the 8/9.

 

Well if you are running the bigger turbo I would at least have a walbro 255 lph fuel pump in the tank for minimum. I mean that was the first thing I installed on my EVO along with the air intake. Just a safety measurement is all I guess.

 

the install was tedious especially the 14mm bolt at the very bottom of the turbo, a side from that the rest of it went pretty smooth until we identified that the coolant leak we had was from the water pipe in the 2nd pic. that pipe was not loosened or removed during the install. the turbo's oil feed line was pressing against it which we thought had applied enough pressure to break the gasket seal. we moved the oil line out of the way re torqued the nuts on the water pipe to no avail. ordering a new gasket today =/
