Yes it was carb legal, but my tuner buddies out here say they've both had better gains with the Injen. Just from what I've heard

I love my ETS intake. It doesn't mess with your MAF signal, and looks and sounds fantastic. I recently put down 321 WHP with minimal mods on CBRDs mustang so it must be doing its job.

I know its a dead thread, but still...I also have pretty much decided i like the K&N typhoon system the most aside from the controversial "wet" filter issue, also used K&N on every car up until now never had a problem. seems like the gains are best with this kit and like the two for one deal buying the intake with the UICP i like along with this shield seems to be the best out there aside from the AEM boxed in approach. Just looking to see if the diameter for the MAF stays the same? trying to make sure tuning isn't required with this set up. Not ready to do a tune yet.

From what I've found, the K&N Typhoon kit uses the stock MAF housing..

No immediate tuning required.
(She'll be tuned soon though)

Will the APR CF radiator plate work with the AEM box?
