Harman Motive Intake installed!

For future intake buyers, simply wanted to let you know that I installed the Harman Motive intake on Saturday (got it as a gift from the Mrs. for Xmas) and I am very happy with it.
Install took a bit longer than expected but simply because we want it to take it easy (installed it with the helpof a friend). Also purchased the AMS intake fan shield to avoid A/C issues and make the engine bay look good =D

Overall, very happy with the product. Sounds great, looks great and soon I'll know if it performs great, which I am sure it does. I'll try to take a picture for those interested, though I've seen on these forums a picutre from another Harman Motive intake owner with the AMS fan shield as well. Very clean lookin'!

to Harman Motive intake!

Good to hear about the HM intake!

I received mine almost a month ago, but haven't installed it yet. Too damn cold right now to do it, so I probably won't get a chance until April or so to do it.

I've had mine for about 4-5 months now. I thought it was a great product and Harmon Motive is a great company to work with. They really put the customers first. Did you get it polished or black? I don't have the shield though, what problem does it cause with the AC?

It can cause erratic idle when you turn on the AC. But I don’t have the shield and my car idles perfect. Every car seems to respond differently.

I have one myself. Kinda of neutral about it. Got mine in the black finish. Looks good, but mine has a small leak at the MAF, the flange you mount the MAF to was not the cleanest looking job (the hole they cut out IMHO is a bit to large). Been looking to pick up an ETS intake. When I received mine they had included the wrong BPV recirc hoses. They rectified there mistake and quickly sent me the correct ones at no cost.

Nothing a good tune wont fix. Haven't had a single idle issue with this intake, and I don't run there box or shield. Wished the Black finish was Flat and not the wrinkle finish...

i think the car pulls harder than before but maybe because of the HFC.
