ETS Exhaust Manifold, causing plug to melt in engine compartment (and resolution)
I basically wrapped every line be it vacuum, coolant, fuel, or IC piping in a 2 foot radius that was in line of sight of the tubular manifold. So far I haven't wrapped the power steering fluid lines but I'm thinking that is a wise idea too. That DEI Cooltape is only like $10 a roll and a ton cheaper then wearing anything out early under the hood due to heat.

Really hope ETS looks into designing a true Heat Shield for there mani, or a way for us to be able to remount the stock one (Looks like there is still room, but would need a way to mount it from the top. If they did design them something like this, it would make there mani far worth owning, as well as it being far safer in all aspects.
Noticed something funny while watching this video about the 4B11 (was getting some info about MIVEC and the Head of the 4B11).

i have the shield installed. just got the car, not sure if it happened before or after the shield was installed either way i will be wrapping shield with heat tape. i have a buddy who lives in the city and is going to see if he can find a junkyard with one. other than that you have to buy the whole harness for about 400$ any suggestions? its the camshaft position sensor plug thats melting and needs replaced.

Check out that plug. i ordered one for my fried plug that is melted. will install tuesday and hope that takes care of my SES light. i messed with the plug and it was off yesterday morning until i got on it again and it popped back up. this could be a cheap alternative to the 140$ pigtail or 400 wiring harness. has noone else experienced this?
