ETS Downpipe install question

WHen installing this downpipe, do I need some sort of gasket between the turbo and the downpipe? It came with a metal spacer or something that goes there, but I havent done this type of install before and want to make sure I do it right the first time since its such a pain in the *** to get to.

Ive heard on the xtremeboost downpipe to not re-use the stock gasket.... but can anyone chime in on the ETS one?

Thanks!

So you didn't use the Metal gasket that fits the AMS downpipe perfectly that sits between the hotside and the downpipe...

That is strange, who installed it?

Somebody is gonna get exhaust leaks, funky O2 codes, and wrong AFR wideband readings in the future.

The metal spacers is the gasket. Don't use the stock gasket. Just install the downpipe and metal gasket directly to the turbo

Thanks!

Haha yeah, figured it out

Got it all installed yesterday.... took the average 8-9 hours.... which was mostly getting that ***** of a stock piece out. Install was only like an hour to an hour an a half total. Now it sounds like Satan is raping my mother, called me on my cell phone and is forcing me to listen to it.

Thanks again Michael!

It is the angriest sound I can imagine. I compare it to the warning horn from the giant robots in war of the worlds. It warns everyone around you that hell is breaking loose. Get one!
