Question Not sure why fuel pump isn't priming anymore

I've been having several fuel pump issues recently ever since I switched from the stock unit to a Blaqops single pump. The pump no longer primes when starting the car (I don't hear it like I used to). The car turns over for about 8-10 seconds before it has enough fuel to start.

I've checked the relay and fuses and they all seem fine.

Anyone know what's going on?

Getting ready to install a double pump, anyone have any thoughts on why the fuel pump isn't priming?

Figured out what happened with my fuel system.

I have the Blaqops single pump kit, and it turns out that my problem is with the Gates hose that comes with the kit...the hose literally split wide open!!! I'm real lucky I didn't blow my engine!

Not sure what the deal is with this hose. I'm running 93 gas and the Gates hose split and is showing visible signs of wear. I'm going to start my search tonight for a more appropriate hose for inside the tank.

Wow. BlaqOPs uses the most expensive type of hose, 30R10, which is rated for E85 in-tank. If you're sure that you'll always run pump then you could use the less expensive 30R9. 5/16" should be the size.
