While i was gettin my EVO serviced i was looking inthe show room. They had a LAncer GTS and i noticed that it had a 2.3 engine. What i am wanting to know is 1) is it the same block as our 2.0? 2) if it is the same would it be cheaper to get the block and drop ins or get a 2.3 short block from buschar?

 

not the same block. for one thing the regular 4B11/4B12 is open deck. the 4B11T is semi-closed.

 

ahh.... didnt think of that. thanks... was a good idea though.
