He's talking about pump gas (91-93 octane).

450 would be achievable on pump. I'm making 414hp with a cat on using 91.

With a good setup, you could hit 500whp on e85 with the green.

Dynojet numbers of course.

I have been tempted to try a BB green or maybe even EF2 and go ***** out on my 2.2L...but I think I would miss the top end.

better question is max psi can you push out of it while still being efficient.

Rarely does anyone actually operate their stock frame turbo in its "efficiency" range. People try to push them way to much and that is why they fail often.

Also, many people are on E85 where you can push it past its intended range easily. Then if you are on a built motor you can make even more power with higher compression etc.

I don't think you would want to run a green at max psi on a stock block. Your asking for a blown motor. Heat, chance for detonation, and high torque numbers and running the turbo at the ragged edge will make the blown motor club. If your looking for 450 awhp I'd say either go for a FP Red or EF3 with bolt ons and cam on 93 and accept that it may be just slightly under or go big EF4 or black, low boost, accept the lag on 93 and should put you well within your reach of 450awhp if not more. Both of those would be your better option.

I wouldn't advise what I posted to a stock block person at all, just commenting on the max potential of said turbo.

Murlo

Totally agree with you on the above post. I was just making a general statement. I think the op that started this thread and others want something that is just not possible on a stock block on pump without risk. Add a EF3 or a FP Red to a 2.2 on 93 and they'll get what they want. E85 and it's a monster. They want what you have without the build. Myself I'll either go with the EF2.5 or the Red and calling it a day. Sub 450 is good enough for me. No engine build for me till it goes and we all run that risk the second we add that first bolt on. Such a disease!!

We will be seeing what my built 2.0 on e85 and green can put down. I should be up near the record number. But I am shooting for usable power not Dyno queen numbers. Gonna try to run a 10.99 on the green

I'm not sure what the record is. currently I have the fastest Ralliart, but the fastest SST is like a 10.8 sec car but its fully gutted and has a Big turbo. I would just like to be the first 10 sec Ralliart. track opens in april
