Had experience with both involving customer service, products, and service for repair of products. ETS hands down. Mike will take care of you no matter what. In my opinion, AMS is overpriced anyways, and I don't have to pay Illinois tax when I buy ETS. To each his own, but trust me, ETS is the way to go.

If we're talking about 3 letter companies than ARC is the way to go.

Why?

-Way overpriced
-Nonexistent customer service
-JDM exclusivity (except for the other 100 people that have the same parts)

AMS if you've got money to burn and want the best results.
ETS if you want almost equal (if not better in some cases) performance to AMS but pay like half the cost.
Buschur if you want function over form but performance similar to ETS.
MAP if you want to go with something new.

lol... that's just their 5" race FMIC with water sprayers attached silly

That is ridiculous though, that's the kind of stuff I'd love building and experimenting with.

LOL! That was to show what we COULD do, but the problem was the AIT's were around 30-40 degree by the time they reached the intake manifold and it was almost impossible to tune. We ended up only using 2 of the water/air coolers and the temps were still to cool with way to much added weight from water. So we put a 5.0" standard ETS intercooler on it

I do miss those days though. Most people don't realize that has over $2000.00 in fittings on it. The large lines by it self was over $700.00

I do both, and more. AMS intake, ETS intercooler kit, milspec hfc and litespec exhaust. I personally go by a case by case basis on parts. Some people might think its silly, but whatever. I chose the AMS intake because I like the design and I can use OTS accessport maps until I get a custom tune from AMS. I went with the ETS intercooler because I like the design of the core, and its price. Milspec hfc because of the dyno results, and litespec exhaust because it's extremely lightweight, dyno proven, and a lot cheaper than most of the exhausts on the market.

I've never thought of this.. Point taken

I'd go with ETS. Michael helped explain things into as I like to call them stupid terms when I was shopping for a turbo upgrade and have never had a bad experience with giving him a call just to ask a small question.
