Good to hear! I hate to do it but I think I may yank mine a third time and open it up a tish further, I'm still at 2.0mm. All I know is I am super happy with this pump so far!

Well you were until testing it exited some diff pins.

On a serious note, I am super tempted to move back to a single pump now to make my fuel setup "simpler" but I am guessing I will run out of fuel then. I think next time I change my setup I will be stuck going surge tank so I never have to worry about fueling again.

I was really hoping this pump would be a drop in and go scenario ... I guess imma have to stick w/ my original plan and go w/ a Buschur Double pumper to push my 2000's... Owell....

Alot great info in here tho...

Honestly knowing exactly how much to drill out the return makes this pump a drop-in and go setup. It's a common sized bit and you already have the pump assembly out, drilling the siphon seriously takes about 5 seconds.

^ and it looks like it's going to be good for ~600hp if Scheides' car is anything to go by

Tephra's is drilled to 2.5mm and mine is drilled to 3mm ... we can get our base pressures to 35 and 30 respectively. I went a bit bigger to try and minimise the "pressure hit" when the pump voltage goes up - but thanks to MrFred we can control that now too!
Both of us have no problems running the tank to almost empty.

and ... you can hardly hear it. which is nice

Oh really...? Hmmm Is there any kind of "write up" or "diy" showing pics of the parts and lines that need to be drilled? Also... Is a AFPR needed w/ this? Since my tuner told me i wouldnt need one w/ my double pumper as long as im running a hobbs switch.

Not needed if the pump low/high voltage transition is adjusted to higher loads (higher boost).

This is the hole you all are talking about drilling right? The smallest hole where the tip of the red line is? I just want to make sure before I drill out the wrong piece.

Did you all drill or alter any other parts of the hanger? I've already removed the filter. Thanks!

Yes that is correct. The whole thing pops out of that assembly though, definitely take it out so you can NOT dump any shavings into your tank/lines. In stock form it is basically a pinhole. Just quickly run a 5/64 inch (2.0mm) or 3/32 inch (2.4mm) bit through. It's plastic and not very thick so it will be fairly effortless--I just used a small electric drill.

Thanks!... I've taken my assembly down to that point before, so I know exaclty how to get to this point as I've removed the filter. Before I go drilling, I'm going to get a fuel pressure gauge and go from there. I bet I could do this in 30 minutes without an issue.

Cool. Yea I actually yanked mine, drilled it, reinstalled, tested, yanked it again, drilled more, reinstalled, tested and then went for a drive to test and bought a copy of battlefield3 at best buy and then drove home all in one hour--my wife was at a massage a few blocks away and asked why i was 'still' on the couch when she got home

Hi folks.

I've just defined the Min Load for Fuel Pump High Voltage table on goldenevo.com. For the ROMs mentioned in this thread, the table def should now be present.

I've also updated a couple of others I was asked about.

Gimme a shout if you need one of the not-done ones... err, done.
