Well i didn't run it until the motor died ... just until the very first Fill Up chime. it happened literally as i was across the road from a gas station so in i went.
I filled it with just over 12 gallons (46 litres for us metric people)

There's a good guide with pictures either here or on EXF - there are two seperate pieces that i drilled out. i used a 3mm bit for both parts.

Pull out the micro filter and drill down beyond it (this may or may not be necessary)
then the plastic bit downstream from that section (which has two tubes) - drill out the tube directly in line with the microfilter section - you'll see it has a pin hole size oriface. make that 3mm aswell.

Remember to put back the rubber O ring between those two parts when you reassemble everything. it's a very tight press fit.
and hey presto you're done

Well I still think it would be tough with normal driving. I think the most I have put in is like 12.5 gallons and on an incline my car wouldn't start once when I was about the same level, had to get a buddy to bring me e85.

Maybe that is because of the blaqops double pumper. But at about 11-12 gallons empty my car gets yucky to drive.

yeah with lateral Gs you're still f#cked
There's a few different ideas to help out with this without moving to a surge tank setup, like extending the walls of the swirl pot, or having a small lift pump dump into the top of the pot...

i think I'll be trying the latter option one day soon, I've already done the first one

Yea mainly because of the lack of the OEM swirl pot.

That said, I never drive my car that low on fuel. 13 at the most. Being stranded sucks.

Speaking of stranded. A Mitsubishi has never left me stranded yet, in over 18 years of owning them. Well, one did as it burned to the ground on the side of the hwy. Although technically that was a Plymouth Laser.

More updates FWIW

On 93 fuel :
consistently running the tank down to the Fill Up chime, 3 times now, with >45litre fillups.
(that's 12 gallons for you backward Imperial folk )

So on my setup at least, 3mm drilling is letting the siphon work as it should and fuel pressures are very reasonable, almost the same as OEM at idle/cruise.

^ So far so good. synthetic oil going in tomorrow and I'll get a rough wastegate pressure road tune on it. At least then I'll see how it spools etc.
Still using stock airbox, so I'll dial in the 3.5" intake over the next few weeks and put it on the rollers on 93.

And then, yep E85 time
I've got FIC2150s which i may or may not need. FIC1100s and more pressure might get me there, I'm really not sure! i really wish the 1600s were still around, but since i want to run pump and E85 i need a reliable setup.

i don't think FIC1100's will be enough on e85 with your gear even if it is an sst

Ive had the 400 installed for about 3-4 weeks now, along with FIC1100s. At first I had interesting problems starting the car at times but after having a reduced cranking enrichment table now I do not have hard start problems. I had to give the car some gas to start it before.... Now it starts but not like it did without the injectors/pumps.

After doing some calculations, I am using about 13.4 of the tank with these before the car starts hickups and asks for more fuel. This pump is unnecessary for my set up but I do plan to make it a weekend car when I dont need to be DD'ing for preservation and not use it as a beater... or when it becomes my second car and gtr first.

What other fuel system mods do you have and did you drill the siphon at all?

Well i just started tuning ...
with injectors all dialled in for idle/cruise, scaling for FIC 1100s at 975 , i did my first WOT run
AFRs in the 8s (fuel map at 10)
AFRs still in 8s (fuel map at 11)

so scaling is going up up up - fuel pressure is huge once the relay trips on stock wiring setup.
But I'm worried if i drill it more, the siphon won't work when the pump is operating at cruise, and I'll "run out of fuel" due to it not sucking on the highway.
