Very nice. Have you guys test fit this yet and has anyone actually run one yet?

Unrelated my ****! :P

This is on your car, right? So you have this pump kit, the drilled siphon, and your FPRkit w/the AEM fpr correct? Anything else? I wonder if the for kit will even be necessary after drilling the siphon....now you have me tempted...

My car - DW300 with MAP install kit, MAP AFPR kit.
Evo X - siphon drilled out to 2.5mm - that's very close to 3/32" for you US guys.
crappy little microfilter removed.
that dropped my pressure from base 55 to base 45. close enough for me.

we tried a car drilled out to 5mm (3/16") and it won't siphon properly. Oops

IMO around 2.5-3.0mm (3/32 - 1/8") is the sweet spot.

The Walbro 400 has more flow, so the siphon will work better when enlarged, so i would estimate you might need 1/16" bigger so maybe in the 1/8-5/32 range

that's my take on it

PS - seeing crazy unstable AFRs on a DW300-equipped Evo 9 with 1050s - does it have the same fuel pressure issues as the Evo X? do they need "drilling" aswell? I'm not familiar with the CT9A fuel hangers. Thanks in advance!

Will the adaptor for the old Walbro pump work with this?

Pfft, I already 'tested' the DW300 for you and can tell you it won't be enough...my BBX was too much for it and the EF4 is bigger! Esp with the 2.2 if you plan on running 30psi (like you should ) you'll need at least this new pump. We'll just have to see who ends up getting it first eh? If I can get one on my car w/o needing a full AFPR setup I could just swap it out for my DW300 setup, easy peasy. If I need a bunch more parts, it'll be farther out for me...I'm already working on a few other things for the car first :P

Which adapter? Check post #1, i don't think the original MAP one will work but the cobb one probably will.

lol
i know
i only have FIC1100s aswell.
Need my piggybank to top up before i can unleash the EF4's full potential, that's for sure.

well, it's highly likely I'll get suckered in to one of these some time in the next month or two when the motor is all run in and i get used to the car again.

What wire did you use for the intank use? Is it Tefzel wire?

Are the connectors E85/gasoline safe (they look like regular crimp connectors)

What whp (DJ), what injectors, and was the pump rewired?

Correct on all counts.

That is the OEM harness connected to an adapter that is included with the universal walbro install kit #400-0001, I would certainly hope they are

This is an evoX remember, not an 8/9. DW300 ran out of juice probably right around 420whp on a dyno dynamics, ~485 dynojet using FIC 1680cc injectors, no other mods.

When running the DW pump, you gotta make sure you have the correct size wiring. If you use the stock size wiring for the DW fuel pump, i dont think i pumps very much more than a 255 walbro.

Yeah, I've become aware that 10's guzzle more fuel than 8/9's. Still interesting to see where you ran out.

Yea, I was on stock wiring and facing a deadline...I had two options:
-hard wire kit and install a FPR kit and HOPE it would be enough ~$300
-Install BAP, keep stock low voltage idle and epic 17.5v under WOT ~$300

The BAP seemed like the best bet and it has been performing flawlessly. However, I'd LOVE to see what this single pump does on stock wiring...if it's not enough well, I can always flip the BAP back on, maybe turn it down to ~15.5v or something, who knows.

Is there any sort of chart listing flow rates to peak power? For instance, the EVO X stock pump (flow rate?) can support up to ~400 whp. What power levels would we be looking at in order to necessitate a 400 lph pump?
