^^ 255 may well be enough on 93 mate.
We'll find out soon... Dan's car ran rich on a 255 and 25psi up top

I'll test on both fuels. 93 first though, then lolly water.

yeah 255 will definately be enough on 93 but the 400 was sold to me that it'll work fine. obviously the intent behind the 400 was going to be not having to change pumps when e85 becomes available. oh well...

lol, i didn't have my wb hooked up last night after i put the 255 in but mine was running rich as well!!

Afaik Carey is still running his without any issues. Bryan@GST hasn't installed his yet. I will probably be getting one in a few months....maybe sooner if the weather continues to be as nice as it has been.

Yeah but Chris only confirmed it on e85, want to know if it can be set up without issues on 93 as well. As said before Adam should have his car up and running this or next week if all goes well, he will be trying out both 93/e85.

Damn I just noticed this. I got the walbro 255. I dunno, I guess I'll sit on the 255 until I decide to build my block like originally intended.

Here's an update :

Walbro 400 on stock wiring
OEM return system drilled out to 3mm, micro filter removed and housing "ported"
Using AFPR - can get base pressure around 40. i have my idle set at 40, so base is 45
As soon as the relay trips, fuel pressure shoots up to 60 (I'm guessing this is around 70-80 Load - just a little bit more throttle than for cruise)
Have run tank down to the Fill Up chime with no issues

running on 93 with FIC1100s FWIW

so far, so good!

^Good to hear! On pump gas even!

I am still hoping to use this pump on the stock FPR w/ e85 and a small return drill-out.

Why did you remove the filter and what do you mean by 'housing ported' ?

yes the micro filter was removed as i figured with the drilling done, the tiny bits it was filtering would flow through the return system anyways. And a few people actually saw a 1-2psi decrease in base pressure just by removing an unclogged filter. I wanted all the return flow i could get, while still having the venturi/siphon system working.

and the housing part i refer to , is the housing the filter sits in... i drilled downstream of the filter, aswell as drilling the 2" long plastic bit that everyone talks about.
I'm not sure of the size of the filter housing, as I'm sure the other piece is the big restriction, but i figured it couldn't hurt.

So with the siphon drilled out to 3mm and the filter removed you have had zero issues with the full usability of the fuel tank? Meaning you can run the car down to were you basically have to put 14 gallons of fuel in?

Any way you can provide some pictures of where else you drilled out and bit sizes?

You won't be able to use 14 gallons unless you get a surge tank, simple as that.
