This pump, in theory, flows a **** ton of fuel. More than a bosch 044 @ 80psi. Not a whole lot more, but more. This should be enough fuel for 600 or so on e85, 700+ on pump

im in the process of drilling out the syphon...b4 it was 55psi base pressure with vac line on and about 52 with vac line off......after i modded the syphon(drillbit 3mm) it dropped to 45 psi.....i also noticed that when i reconnected the vac line there was no change in fuel pressure when taking on or off the vac line is this ok? does it matter?

^ fuel pressure on the AFPR gauge should drop when you connect the vac line.
i think mine used to drop ~5psi from memory.

Well we've got one installed in an Evo X with a rewire and its very quiet, in fact I could not discern a fuel pump noise whatsoever. Even with our 1/8" siphon modification it was showing ~56psi base fuel pressure though. We drilled it out to 7/32" and were able to get it back down to 43.5, time will tell if we run into any siphoning issues.

Run the tank out as far as possible (keep a 5 gallon tank with you just in case you run out) should take a day with some fun driving Then fill up and see how many gallons the car takes and see if the gauge is correct and if you were able to use the entire capacity.

Thats what I did to verify when I drilled my Evo 8.

Sweet please keep us posted!

I want to pull the trigger on a fuel setup and injectors ASAP to switch my car to e85 but still do pump gas when needed for longer trips. Future plans are also a stock appearing turbo in the size of an FP Black/EF4 so I do not want to have to buy anything twice and prefer keeping it a simple single pump setup.

I can't even imagine what you would have to drill the siphon out to to run pump gas with this thing lol

Well if you got 43.5psi on e85 I'd think in a worst case scenario you may get around 50psi on 93octane which in my opinion would be well in the range of control for tuning... An AFPR if needed is no big deal to me either.

I'd venture to say though it probably wouldn't even hit 50psi...

For a quick test run the pump on a voltage source matching when the car is running while the car is off and see what it hits on the gauge with no fuel usage. That will really tell you if you can bypass enough fuel and what the PSI would be. I used AEM to trigger my pumps back and forth and together when I was testing and dialing in my siphon on my Evo 8 before I would start the car.

Well I've got some bad news, ran into fueling issues at about 1/4 tank this morning with a 7/32" siphon. Back to the drawing board I guess

Chris I have Jay Racing Bosch 044 running @ ~45-50 psi with 5/64" orifice and I have no issues with the siphon. Just to give you a idea.

I figure around 275 LPH at idle.

The Walbro 400

runs about ~ 375 LPH

Maybe try something like 5/32's...

I'm back to 9/64" and I feel as if I've gotten further than with the previous setup, I should be hitting the first gas warning later today I will certainly report back.

What is your pressure at with 9/64"? Also is that a rewire or stock wiring?

Cool! Thanks for sharing man, this is awesome!

Damn, good point--Carey IIRC your fuel pump is rewired, so it is seeing ~14v all the time.

So this actually gives others a glimmer of hope--running the stock dual voltage setup we should be able to run only a very slightly modified siphon.

Bryan @ GST should have his pump and be playing around with it here soon....curious to see his results

That or you will melt the wiring runing 20 volts of draw at WOT with this pump..
