i was still using the stock boost control solenoids
Well my best guess it that here in indiana at the time the temperature had drop to 10 degrees and in cold weather the air is more compressed thus over boosting
thats just what i could make out of it
no i was not a MBC

after your new motor is done look into adding RAX patch when you tune or make sure you tuner knows about it.
it adds intake air temp adjusted bgwdc adjustments to prevent overboosting in cold conditions.
other good measures are psi based boost control with the barometic compensation to prevent overboosting due to elevation changes.

What psi were u tuned for? I can't imagine the car overboosting more then a couple lbs at most and that should be ok as long as its not happening over and over. Also since u were tuned with stock solenoids was the load cutoff not setup?

not trying to be a jackass but this could have easily been avoided with Error correction as well as Load/boost limit table being set up properly.
good luck with the build though

So you were tuned for 25.. you turned it up to 27lbs.. and tuned it to 27lbs.. and somehow boosted 5 lbs over your target?
