Thought that because it wasn't all that cold out, we'd be fine having some fun on gravel roads. The roads were actually closer to clay-based mud, so the pump was being asked to do its job. It decided that maybe welfare was the better way to go and quit. Hence the question posed in the thread-title.

I would also love to get or for each suggestion, if you have any experience.

Well, a company called ACD-tuning.com repairs them, and offers rebuild kits.

However, I have not heard anyones experience with them. At least for the Evo X.

 

well mine was out for like a year and then it randomly started working buy it self all i had to do was bleed it again after it started working again

 

Funny you should say that. Normally, I'd be all over you, saying something snide, such as "driving an Evo with an open center is like losing your cherry to a your first cousin," but the pump was working when I drove to work this morning. Do they have a auto-shutoff for over-heating? We were working it really hard when it stopped working yesterday.

 

lmao no they have there own ecu which puts them into safety mode if it sees a problem so that could of been it im guessing
