Got a cel light after cat install

Car was tuned, about 100 miles later I get a cel.
He was able to disable the rear o2 sensor, I think is bad.,
It was backed out from the original oem the thread was stripped & tip looked a little dirty, car had less than 5k it's a 12 mr.
What do people do that run test pipes, that need emissions done.?
Do you guys just toss the stock cat on for that, or can it be fixed via tuning. ?
I'm running HFC aftermarket
Thanks for any help would be greatly appreciated.

A tuner can disable it for you.

Tuner can disable the P0141 code from your ECU, but you will have issues when going for emissions testing as the sensor will not be in the ready position. My suggestion is to purchase a 90 degree CEL FIX. This way you'll be able to keep the sensor in ready postion w/o throwing a code.

I have an ETS test pipe and have never got a CEL. ETS promotes that that the test pipe has a J-Pipe 02 bung that prevents it and it works!

^^ You are correct. Sometimes you get an initial CEL, but once reset never comes back.

Thank you, if problem persists I will replace with ets.
The only choice for me, ets does the right thing.
Thank you Michael
