I had a Invidia N1 Race (just a straight pipe with a muffler) turbo back exhaust (no cat's in the downpipe or anything at all) on my 2006 Subaru STI.

How loud is the V2 Extreme/Standard compared to that? With an ETS test pipe (non resonated/catless etc.).

I LOVE loud cars, just trying to gauge how "Extreme" it actually is.

If anyone is in Orlando with this setup, I'll I'd happily meet up to hear it and buy you a burrito!

 

Volume-wise, the ETS V2 (standard) will be about the same as your Invidia N1 I'd imagine.

 

Hmm, so I imagine the Extreme would be quite the noise maker.

 

Correct, it has no mufflers, only a small bottle resonator.

 

I liked my N1 because it was much deeper than a straight pipe. I wonder if these are "deep" sounding. I've heard some excellent Evo X's but this was back before I was exhaust shopping for one

This is true. I like the sound from the HKS HiPower Ceramic coated one. It's heavier than most system but sounds deep and o-so-sexy. :}

 

This is what I'm looking for! Loud and deep.
