The Evo guys aren't going to be a lot of help. There are a couple good threads in the NA Lancer sections. It all honestly depends on your actual goals. If you're just looking to make the car more fun to drive spiritedly, check out those posts and then go for it. If you want to make the car FAST, sell it and buy something else. You'll pour more money into a GT to get to stock Evo X power levels than you would buying a stock car.

Budget not an issue? Sell that car and buy an Evo. Wasting your time trying to put more power through a CVT trans.

ive seen people install turbo kits on youtube. The country where i live there is just 2 EVO X's and we dont import 5 year old cars because of customs policy. so appreciate if you could provide me ideas which could give me more HP.

Hello. Hey the written word is not always understood for its full intended meaning. The member youre working with is one of our more experienced mechanical engine guys

He cooks a mean steak & mixes up a mean scotch as well

What is being suggested is: Dont try and create a 4B11T from a 4B11. It is sometimes much better to start w/the real thing

OK, then don't buy an EvoX. Buy a different car. The $/horsepower you will be spending, as well the issues you will have with the CVT trans are not worth it. Just about any Honda civic with a manual trans would be better. An S2000, an older Evo, like basically anything else...

Heres an old thread that discusses some options (RRM kit if youre interested in just doing a turbo kit)

The engine isn't the same. I'm not sure what does and doesn't fit. Good luck with your build. I wouldn't surprised if the CVT trans cant handle even an extra 50-60hp.
